Achievement Guide - Dave the Diver Guide - IGN (2024)

Dave the Diver includes 43 achievements, and although you'll unlock a good chunk of them during your time in the game, a few are tough to track down. In this achievement guide, we'll walk through everything you need to do to get every achievement in the game, including hidden achievements.

Dave the Diver - Achievement Guide

We have a checklist so you can track your achievement progress in Dave the Diver. Many of the achievements you'll unlock over the course of the game, but we'll highlight which achievements are easy to miss.

Story Achievements

Complete the gun tutorial; unlocked through the story

Fix the sushi restaurant. Unlocked as part of the story.

Entered the Deep Sea for the first time. This unlocks when you first reach the Blue Hole Depths as part of the story.

Discover the under-sea village. You'll unlock this as part of the story.

Discover the Glacier Passage. You'll unlock this as part of the story.

Enter the Glacier Passage for the first time. You'll unlock this as part of the story.

Watched the ending credits. You'll unlock this as part of the story.

Progression Achievements

Make your first equipment upgrade in the iDiver app.

Raise your rank in the Cooksta app to the Bronze level.

Catch your first shark. Catching includes killing a shark, as well.

Enhanced 5 dishes. Read our guide on how to get best taste to learn how to enhance dishes.

First time bringing Dave back from the brink of death. This unlocks when you run out of oxygen for the first time and Cobra is forced to save you.

Research 5 new dishes. You can research new dishes using Artisan's Flame inside Bancho's Sushi Bar.

Complete the Dolphin's request. At random points in the story, a dolphin will visit you when you start diving, requesting help. Complete each of the requests to unlock the achievement.

Picked up 100 items. Any item in the Blue Hole counts toward progress.

Caught 20 fish with melee weapons. Killing a fish counts as catching it.

Bought first interior item. You can buy new interior items in the menu in Bancho's Sushi Bar.

Catch 300 fish.

Catch 10 fish with the Sniper Rifle. Killing a fish counts as catching it.

Enhanced gun 3 times. Read our guide on how to upgrade weapons to learn how to enhance your guns.

Take 10 photos at photo spots. Read our guide on how to take a picture.

Open Tap to Reveal. You can do this by completing all of Mima's requests.

Unlock Platinum rank in the Cooksta app.

This is potentially missable. When Tap to Reveal in Chapter 6, you'll walk across Rations. Make sure to eat them before leaving.

Gumo's Seaweed Farm opened. You can unlock it by completing Kazhin's requests in the Sea People Village.

Open Duwa's workshop. You can unlock this by completing Duwa's requests in the Sea People Village.

Momo is a cat in Bancho's Sushi Bar. Feed Momo five times to unlock this achievement. Make sure to read our guide on how to feed Momo.

Research 30 new dishes.

Form a branch of Bancho Sushi. You can do so by completing all VIP requests and finishing the game.

Expand the rice field to its largest point in the vegetable farm. You can purchase upgrades from Otto at the farm.

Install sprinklers in the vegetable farm to automatically water your crops. You can purchase this as an upgrade from Otto at the farm.

Expand the vegetable farm to its maximum. You can expand the field by purchasing upgrades from Otto.

Collect a blueprint for every weapon. There are seven weapons in total, and you need a blueprint of each. Note, you don't need the variants of weapons to unlock the achievement.

Unlock diamond rank in the Cooksta app. This is the highest rank.

Captured all of the Sea People murals. You can find all of them as part of the story, short of one in the Glacier Passage. Capture all of them with your camera to unlock the achievement.

Trained employees to level 20. You only need to train one employee to this level for the achievement to unlock.

Sell 200 items at the workshop. You can unlock Guma's workshop in the Sea People Village by finishing his requests.

Feed Momo 20 times. You can find Cat Food in cooking pots within the Blue Hole.

Captured 5 FishMon. Late in the game, Udo will request you catch particular fish once per week, known as FishMon. Catch 5 of them to unlock the achievement.

GYAO! is a mini-game in Dave the Diver where you can raise unique fish. Raise 5 of them to unlock the achievement.

Hidden Achievements

Catch every boss. Killing a boss counts as catching it.

Catch (or kill) a fish with Mjolnir. This weapon randomly spawns within caches in the Glacier Area.

Wipe out all the developers. During the credits, you can play a mini-game where you can shoot at the developers' names. If you miss the achievement, you'll unlock this as a mini-game on your phone after the credits are done.
