Took me right in and found simple fix

I'm always 100% satisfied with my experience at the Manatee Ave Bradenton FL 34209 store. Tom Pepitone and the team go above and beyond and truly care about the customer experience. I recommend this store to anyone needing their auto serviced. My mother, my wife and myself are regulars because of Tom and his team.

I felt like the service manager was interested in making sure I was satisfied with the service and withh the recommendations he made.

First I called and was told the oil change was $29 and I was charged $53.38. My door handle was scratch ed during the oil change. The Manager offered and paid for the repair. But I had to get an estimate, go by the Midas store get it approved, was told I need to pay the repair shop with a CC, took in to be repaired, picked the car back up and then went back to the Midas store where I was credited for the repair. I had to get rides back and forth plus my time..

We were out of town and needed emergency service. They were cordial, prompt, and efficient.

Wife had to dropped off jeep and had no issues with staff. They called me and confirmed work to be performed. They updated me on whole process. Staff called me when completed. Very happy with staff and will continue to go here.

I've been going for years and Tom & his team never disappoint! Knowledgeable, they explain the process & try to get you in & out in a reasonable time. I received a free oil change on my birthday too!

During previous service call, it was pointed out that my brake pads would need replacement. Was easy to make appointment online, although I did need to call for my confirmation. Drop off was easy. Timeframe was given as about 2 hours. Around 4 hours later I called for an update. Would still require an extra hour. Received a call when service was completed and pickup/ checkout was easy.

Brent and the older man in office were VERY rude during this entire situation. Brent said it would take hour to hour and half to put my new tires on and it took almost 4 hours. I drove my truck and it shook bad so I called so I could have them rebalance them & Brent was very rude on phone asking me what I did wrong (which I didn’t do anything) Brent was making it hard for me to come back to have them fix this. I went to the other Midas in Bradenton on Cortez & spoke with Shawn & Shawn fixed it asap & was very nice & Shawn said they were definitely unbalanced. The shop on Manatee needs to be addressed because that is not how you treat your customers or work with the public.

The one that waited on me treated me like we was long time good friends, he joked around , very nice to me . I had mad a appointment I got there he got my car in and it's seam like it done in no time. I was very pleased and I will be going back for other services. From calling to make an appointment and right up to the end everything went as good as it could have. The crew at that shop were all very professional and kind.

I scheduled an appointment online late at night and got a call to confirm early the next morning. Dropped the car off and received a call with the estimate within the time frame it was promised. The work was done quickly and sooner than expected. Also satisfied so far with the work.

I called on the phone for a transmission change of fluid, when they told me on the phone it would be 120, I got there and the guy told me no it’s 189 to over 300. I ended up having a transmission change. Were they just emptied the fluid out and put new in and they charged me very good money for that, also, I had a synthetic oil change, which was probably market price fare, they found the two serpentine belts were getting very old and they replaced them, the price of the belts was astronomical compared to what I can get the price going into an auto shop for, but I don’t have any choice because I am handicapped. And then they change the cabin filter and the engine filter and the prices on those were outrageous, but since I was there, I had them put them in, I go to Midas because I really believe in the name and I have been going to Midas for the last 25 years. The guys at this location are very good and very nice but I think the prices are outrageous and I was not happy with the fact on the phone they told me it would be much less for the transmission fluid change and I got in there and it was much higher and the overall bill was just under $600

I am in town on vacation. I had a tire go flat on my Rental. I called this location as they Were AAA recommended. Brent Ryan answered my call and offered to send a tow truck. Once I was at the location everything was explained and a reasonable time frame was give. Both Andrew and Brent followed up with me and explained the cause of the tire loss and the results of the alignment

We've been bringing our cars to this Midas for 10 years. We always been treated with great respect. The staff has always been friendly and always takes great care in explaining what our cars need. I trust the staff at this Midas. I feel very lucky to have found a mechanic who I can trust to care for my car and care about my family's needs.

They provided the estimate and overview prior to the work. They kept me posted. They were extremely nice. One that I spoke with (I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) was so very kind to an elderly customer who came in as well as nice to me. He loves his job and it shows!

We are part time residents in Florida. Seems like each time down, we have an issue with the vehicle we leave here. We have used this Midas at least 4-5 times, and each and every time, the staff was great, service was quick, helpful on minor non-repair issues. I wish we had this owner/operator in a local Midas back in Pennsylvania. I compare the type of service we get at this Midas, to service you might only expect at a local family run gas station/repair shop, not a chain. This Midas is well run. Tom Roche

I had taken my car somewhere else fist and that location did not have staffing or people that sounded knowledgeable. Called Midas and Tommy answered the phone said they could fix my car. He was friendly and knowledgeable. When I got there he remembered that I had called about a battery and everyone was helpful and friendly! I would recommend going there.

Tom is always clear in explaining what is going on with my car in non-technical terms. He also gives helpful advice regarding things that may need to be addressed in the coming months on my aging car.

Dependable reliable expert service. I have been a Midas customer for 12 years.

Well, I have scheduled a simple oil change and I think it took around two hours when they told me they were swamped and it would be about an hour. They only carry synthetic oil which is fine but I’m not used to paying $60 for an oil change, I think that’s kind of high and the wait time was not their fault, maybe somebody called off down enough people that’s really not my problem, I don’t like waiting because my time is worth more than that. I could just drive through Jiffy Lube and be done in 10 minutes .

This was not our first visit at this store. Always friendly and ready to be of service. Quick repairs, usually the same day even if busy.

Tom answers the phone with professionalism and he listens to the problem before jumping to conclusions or a sale. Tom Piptone is my FAVORITE

I had a 20 dollar off coupon but it still seemed to be the same price some how. I did like they got me in and out quick . My time is important to me.

Never have a problem with always honest and great service

I had a dead battery and unfortunately I needed it repaired quickly. I checked at a another shop who did not have the battery I needed in stock. I called Midas and they not only had the battery but would bring it in right away. When I arrived they took my vehicle in immediately and had me back on the road in a less than 30 minutes. . Crew was also very friendly and professional.
